Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, turmeric, paprika, cayenne, nutritional yeast, cornstarch, and salt.
- Add the tofu to the mixture and toss to coat.
- Spread the tofu on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve warm with your favorite vegan sauce.
Notes
- For added crunch, broil the tofu for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Feel free to adjust the spices according to your taste.
