Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Once the cake is cool, slice it in half horizontally, layer with strawberries and whipped cream, and serve.
