Description

Delight in this savory steak and shrimp dish served with creamy red skin mashed potatoes, peppers, and onions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 2 pounds red skin potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Boil the red skin potatoes until soft, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add bell pepper and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Remove vegetables and set aside. In the same pan, cook steak and shrimp until done.
  5. Drain the potatoes, mash with butter and cream, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve the steak and shrimp over the mashed potatoes, topped with the sautéed peppers and onions.
