Description

These Protein Brownies are not only easy to make but also deliciously indulgent, satisfying your sweet tooth while providing a protein boost.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the black beans, rolled oats, cocoa powder, protein powder, honey, almond butter, vanilla extract, and baking powder. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For added sweetness, mix in some chocolate chips before baking.
  • Serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt for an extra treat.
