- 1 pound prawns
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons tikka masala paste
- 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
- Add the tikka masala paste and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add the prawns and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they are pink and cooked through.
- Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt.
- Serve garnished with fresh cilantro.
