- 1 head cabbage
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup rice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- Prep the cabbage by chopping it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, diced tomatoes, rice, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the chopped cabbage in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the turkey mixture on top of the cabbage.
- Pour the chicken broth over the casserole.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the cabbage and rice are tender.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic or onions to the turkey mixture.
- This recipe can easily be adapted by adding your favorite vegetables.
