Description
A rich and satisfying lasagna made with layers of pasta, turkey bacon, and chicken ham for a twist on a classic dish.

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 ounces turkey bacon
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble when cool.
- In the same skillet, add ground turkey and cook until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- In a large baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, turkey mixture, bacon, and mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with noodles and sauce on top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for added flavor.
- Let the lasagna sit for an hour to enhance the flavors.
- This dish can be frozen before baking.
