Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup chocolate ice cream
  • ½ cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and water. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. While the cake is cooling, in another bowl whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  5. Fold in the condensed milk, chocolate syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  6. Once the cake is fully cooled, layer the chocolate ice cream over the top.
  7. Spread the whipped chocolate mixture on top of the ice cream.
  8. Garnish with chocolate chips and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Slice and serve chilled.
