Description

This Swiss Mushroom Melt Delight is a flavor-packed burger layered with juicy beef patties, golden sautéed mushrooms, and gooey Swiss cheese. It’s quick, easy, and restaurant-quality comfort food made right at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Heat skillet/grill over medium-high. Cook patties 3-4 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  3. Meanwhile, heat olive oil and butter in a separate pan. Sauté sliced mushrooms for 4-5 minutes until golden.
  4. Place Swiss cheese on each patty during last minute of cooking. Cover to melt.
  5. Toast buns (optional), spread mayo and mustard if using.
  6. Assemble burgers: bottom bun → cheese patty → mushrooms → top bun.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
