- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unfold puff pastry sheets and cut each into 4 equal squares.
- Spoon a small amount of cream cheese mixture into the center of each square.
- Add a spoonful of strawberry pie filling on top.
- Fold pastry diagonally to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
- Crimp edges with a fork for a secure seal.
- Whisk egg with milk and brush over turnovers.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
