Description

This homemade Starbucks Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino is creamy, fruity, and refreshingly sweet. Perfect for summer afternoons or as a dessert treat.

Ingredients

  • For the Strawberry Base:

    • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries – The star of the show, for that vibrant, fruity layer.

    • 2 tbsp strawberry syrup or jam – Adds sweetness and a deeper strawberry flavor.

    • 1/2 cup milk (any type) – Helps blend the base into a smooth puree.

    For the Frappuccino Blend:

    • 1 cup ice – Gives the drink its signature frosty texture.

    • 1/2 cup milk – Keeps the blend creamy without overpowering the strawberry flavor.

    • 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt or ice cream – Adds a luscious, dessert-like creaminess.

    • 1 tbsp white chocolate sauce or syrup – A hint of richness for that shortcake vibe.

    • 1 tbsp strawberry syrup – Enhances the pink hue and sweetness.

    • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract – Brings a warm, aromatic depth to the drink.

    For Topping:

    • Whipped cream – Because no frappuccino is complete without it.

    • Crushed shortbread cookies or graham crackers – For a satisfying crunch and shortcake essence.

    • Extra strawberry syrup (drizzle) – A pretty finishing touch that also boosts flavor.

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine the strawberries, 2 tbsp strawberry syrup, and 1/2 cup milk to create the fruity base. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour this mixture into the bottom of a tall glass to create a strawberry layer.
  • Rinse the blender and add ice, 1/2 cup milk, vanilla yogurt or ice cream, white chocolate sauce, 1 tbsp strawberry syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until frothy and creamy.
  • Slowly pour the frappuccino blend over the strawberry layer in the glass.
  • Top generously with whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle with crushed cookies and finish with a drizzle of strawberry syrup.
  • Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy the dreamy layered treat!

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, swap milk with oat milk and use coconut cream.

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less syrup.
