- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat and drain excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef to a slow cooker.
- Add diced bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.
- Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cooked rice.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, serve hot.
