Description
This decadent seafood lasagna features tender shrimp and sweet crab meat layered with creamy béchamel and gooey cheeses. A showstopping dish perfect for holidays or weeknight indulgence.
Ingredients

9 lasagna noodles

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)

8 oz lump crab meat

4 tbsp unsalted butter

¼ cup all-purpose flour

4 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream
-
1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
¼ tsp nutmeg
-
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese
-
2 cloves garlic (minced)
-
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Lemon zest for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles and set aside.

Sauté shrimp in olive oil until pink, then combine with crab meat.

Make white sauce: melt butter, whisk in flour, add milk/cream until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg.

Layer noodles, ricotta, seafood, sauce, and cheeses in a baking dish.

Repeat layers. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.

Bake covered for 25 minutes, uncover and bake 15 more until golden.

Rest 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley and lemon zest.
