- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8-count)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Sprinkle in the flour and stir to coat the sausage. Cook for 1–2 minutes to eliminate raw flour taste.
- Gradually add the milk while whisking. Cook for 5–7 minutes, until it thickens into a creamy gravy. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Pour the sausage gravy into the prepared baking dish.
- Place the biscuits on top of the gravy, pressing them down slightly.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
