- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until coated.
- Sprinkle the buttery cracker crumbs over the chicken mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken saves time and adds flavor.
- Add steamed broccoli, peas, or shredded cheese for variety.
- Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter version.
