This Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread combines the iconic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak with crispy French bread and gooey cheese. A perfect appetizer or main dish that’s quick, easy, and irresistibly delicious!

- 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak, then remove and set aside.
- Sauté the bell pepper, onion, and garlic in the same skillet until softened. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with the steak.
- Brush the bread with melted butter and garlic powder, then toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Top the bread with the steak-veggie mixture and sprinkle cheeses evenly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños.
- Swap ribeye for ground beef or chicken for variation.
