- For the Topping:

Instructions
- Cut French bread into thick slices and arrange in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Pour over the bread slices.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix brown sugar and granulated sugar. Sprinkle over bread.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes. For extra caramelization, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
