Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla.
  5. Melt chocolate and mix with cocoa powder. Combine one cup of banana batter with the chocolate mixture.
  6. Alternate spooning banana and chocolate batter into the loaf pan. Swirl with a knife.
