- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped pepperoni slices (optional)
- Olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 6–8 even rectangles.
- On one side of each rectangle, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce, leaving a border.
- Top with mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni (if using).
- Fold dough over to create a pocket and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
- Lightly brush or spray with olive oil.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with extra marinara sauce for dipping!
