Description

These Golden Lobster Puff Pastry Cups are flaky, buttery pastry shells filled with rich and creamy lobster filling — perfect for parties or special dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 ½ cups cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup finely chopped shallots
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets slightly and cut into small squares.
  3. Press each square gently into muffin tin cups to form pastry shells.
  4. Brush edges with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool slightly.
  6. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté shallots for 2–3 minutes.
  7. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  8. Stir in lobster, cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan; cook until creamy.
  9. Add lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
  10. Spoon warm lobster mixture into baked pastry cups.
  11. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Keep puff pastry cold until ready to use.
  • Don’t overfill the cups to prevent spillover.
  • Serve warm for best texture and flavor.
  • Reheat gently in a warm oven to preserve crispiness.
