Description
This comforting one-skillet meal features garlic butter-seared steak bites tossed with cheesy tortellini in a rich homemade Alfredo sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb steak bites
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Season steak bites with salt and pepper and sear 3-4 mins per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining 1 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Lower heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add Parmesan and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Return steak bites to the skillet. Stir gently to warm through.
- Adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use room temperature steak for best sear.
- Fresh Parmesan and garlic improve flavor significantly.
- Sear steak in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Add red pepper flakes or nutmeg for extra flavor.
