Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Creamy Alfredo Tortellini

Description

This comforting one-skillet meal features garlic butter-seared steak bites tossed with cheesy tortellini in a rich homemade Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak bites
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Season steak bites with salt and pepper and sear 3-4 mins per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining 1 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Lower heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add Parmesan and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat.
  6. Return steak bites to the skillet. Stir gently to warm through.
  7. Adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

  • Use room temperature steak for best sear.
  • Fresh Parmesan and garlic improve flavor significantly.
  • Sear steak in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Add red pepper flakes or nutmeg for extra flavor.
