- 1 pound ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
- Sesame seeds (optional)
- Dill pickle slices, for serving
- Ketchup and mustard, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Separate biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece into a circle.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each biscuit circle.
- Pull the edges of the biscuit dough up and around the filling, pressing to seal.
- Place the filled biscuit bombs seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over the tops of the biscuit bombs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve with dill pickle slices, ketchup, and mustard for dipping.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for beef and use low-fat cheese.
- Make sure to seal the edges well to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.
