Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Dill pickle slices, for serving
  • Ketchup and mustard, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  5. Separate biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece into a circle.
  6. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each biscuit circle.
  7. Pull the edges of the biscuit dough up and around the filling, pressing to seal.
  8. Place the filled biscuit bombs seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over the tops of the biscuit bombs.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  12. Serve with dill pickle slices, ketchup, and mustard for dipping.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for beef and use low-fat cheese.
  • Make sure to seal the edges well to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.
