Description

These Apple Pie Biscuits are flaky, buttery, and filled with warm cinnamon-apple filling. Topped with a vanilla glaze, they’re a quick and cozy treat for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
  • For the glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Chop apple pie filling into small pieces and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  3. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each biscuit and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
  7. Mix glaze ingredients until smooth.
  8. Let biscuits cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill the biscuits to avoid leakage.
  • Cool slightly before glazing so the glaze doesn’t melt off.
  • Optional: Add chopped pecans or walnuts to the filling for crunch.
  • Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
