- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup apple pie filling, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
- For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Chop apple pie filling into small pieces and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each biscuit and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
- Mix glaze ingredients until smooth.
- Let biscuits cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze. Serve warm.
Notes
- Don’t overfill the biscuits to avoid leakage.
- Cool slightly before glazing so the glaze doesn’t melt off.
- Optional: Add chopped pecans or walnuts to the filling for crunch.
