Description
Delicious and easy air fryer caramel apple wontons perfect for a quick dessert. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside.

- 1 cup apple pie filling, chopped
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 egg, beaten
- Cooking spray
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the chopped apple pie filling, caramel sauce, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix well.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place a small spoonful of the apple filling mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with the beaten egg.
- Fold the wrappers in half diagonally to form a triangle and press the edges firmly to seal. Ensure there are no air pockets.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly spray the wontons with cooking spray and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry the wontons for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the wontons from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
Notes
You can serve these wontons with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
