Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup apple pie filling, chopped
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the chopped apple pie filling, caramel sauce, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix well.
  • Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place a small spoonful of the apple filling mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  • Brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with the beaten egg.
  • Fold the wrappers in half diagonally to form a triangle and press the edges firmly to seal. Ensure there are no air pockets.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the wontons with cooking spray and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
  • Air fry the wontons for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove the wontons from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

You can serve these wontons with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
