Description

Deep-Fried Ranch Bacon Cheeseburger Corn Dogs are a fun, indulgent twist on classic fair food. Juicy seasoned beef is layered with creamy ranch, melted cheddar, and smoky bacon, then coated in a crispy cornmeal batter and fried until golden brown. Perfect for game day, parties, or anytime comfort food cravings hit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing
  • 8 wooden skewers
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Shape the beef mixture into hot-dog-sized logs and insert wooden skewers into the center.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the beef logs until fully cooked. Let cool slightly.
  4. Spread ranch dressing over the cooked beef, then press on cheddar cheese and bacon crumbles.
  5. Freeze for 20 minutes to help the coating stick.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  7. In another bowl, mix egg and milk, then combine with dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
  8. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Dip each cheeseburger stick into the batter, coating evenly.
  10. Fry 2–3 at a time for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

  • Freezing before battering helps keep toppings in place.
  • Maintain oil temperature for even frying.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting.
  • Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.
