Description

These Tuna Melt Patties are crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory on the inside, and ready in just 18 minutes. Perfect for a quick lunch, light dinner, or a fun party appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (5 oz) tuna, drained

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup finely diced celery

  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (+ extra for coating)

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)


Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients (except olive oil) in a bowl until combined.

  • Shape into 6 patties and coat lightly in breadcrumbs.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.

  • Serve hot with sauce or in a sandwich.

Notes

  • Pat tuna dry to prevent sogginess.

  • For gluten-free, use almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs.
