  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment.

  • Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

  • Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in mashed bananas and vanilla.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  • Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.

  • Fold in nuts, if using.

  • Pour batter into pan and smooth the top.

  • Bake 60–70 minutes, tenting with foil if browning too quickly.
