- 2 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Meat: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef or lamb and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Sauté the Vegetables: Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery to the pot. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add Broth and Seasoning: Pour in the beef broth and add the diced potatoes, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Simmer: Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Add Peas: Stir in the frozen peas and cook for another 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
