- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Cooked pasta or crusty bread for serving
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant.
- Cook shrimp in the skillet until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Deglaze the skillet with white wine or broth, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Return shrimp to the skillet to coat in sauce.
