Description
These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs combine the best of both worlds – soft cookie dough and fudgy brownies. Coated in rich chocolate, these bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, snacks, or satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of brownie mix (prepared according to package instructions)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 cups chocolate candy melts
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the brownies according to the package instructions and let them cool completely. Once cooled, cut the brownies into small squares.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture becomes fluffy. Add in the milk and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
- Gradually stir in the flour until fully incorporated. Then, fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Roll the cookie dough mixture into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
- Flatten each brownie square and wrap it around a cookie dough ball, forming a “bomb.” Make sure the dough ball is fully enclosed within the brownie.
- Melt the chocolate candy melts according to the package instructions. Dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Add sprinkles on top if desired, before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate the brownie bombs until the chocolate is fully set.
Notes
- Storage: These bombs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle sea salt on top of the bombs before the chocolate hardens.
