Description

A warm, gooey chocolate cake layered with caramel and toasted marshmallows — simple to make, indulgent, and perfect for gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared dish for the base.
  4. Bake 15 minutes until set but not fully baked.
  5. Remove from oven and pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake base.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce on top, then sprinkle with marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes until marshmallows are golden and the center is gooey.
  8. Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar (optional), and serve warm.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake — the center should stay soft and gooey.
  • Use quality caramel sauce for the best flavor.
  • Let cool briefly before slicing to keep clean layers.
  • Reheat slices for maximum gooeyness before serving.
