- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
- On a sheet of parchment paper, form the chicken mixture into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Layer the ham slices and Swiss cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
- Carefully roll the chicken mixture around the ham and cheese to form a loaf. Place the loaf seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Spread marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Notes
- For added flavor, you can add a light breadcrumb crust on top of the meatloaf before baking.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
