Cheesecake Layer:

Topping:

  • 1 cup cherry pie filling


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.

  • In a large bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugar until smooth.

  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Stir in vanilla extract.

  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until just combined — do not overmix.

  • Spread about ¾ of batter evenly in pan.

  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until creamy.

  • Spread cheesecake mixture over brownie layer.

  • Spoon cherry pie filling over the cheesecake layer.

  • Drop remaining brownie batter on top in spoonfuls. Gently swirl with a knife for marbled effect.

  • Bake 35–40 minutes, until center is just set.

  • Cool completely, then slice into squares.
