Description

This Cheesy Sloppy Cheeseburger Pasta is a comforting one-pot meal that brings together all the classic flavors of a cheeseburger in a creamy, cheesy pasta dish—ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles (optional)
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes (with juice), ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add uncooked macaroni, stir to combine. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes to thicken.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with diced pickles and fresh herbs.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook the pasta—keep it al dente for the best texture.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for a smoother, meltier sauce.
  • Customize with extra veggies, spicy add-ins, or different cheeses.
  • This dish freezes well—just reheat with a splash of broth or cream.
