Description

These Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls marry tender shredded chicken, creamy cheese and buttery crescent dough into a quick, satisfying, family-friendly meal. They bake up golden, flaky and rich—perfect for weeknights, game day or cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Roll each crescent from the wide end to the point, sealing the filling inside.
  6. Place the rolls on the baking sheet and brush each one with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Serve hot with a dipping sauce if desired.

Notes

  • You can use leftover cooked or rotisserie chicken to simplify the prep.
  • Don’t overfill the dough triangles—this helps prevent the filling from leaking out.
  • Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing and a smoother filling texture.
  • Serve immediately for best texture: flaky outside and melty inside.
  • Try dipping sauces like ranch, marinara or honey mustard for extra flavour.
