Description

These Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones are crispy, golden shells filled with savory beef, smoky bacon, melted cheese, and tangy burger sauce. A fun and creative appetizer that’s perfect for parties, game nights, or a family-friendly dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, diced
  • Optional: shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, extra pickles, or jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange tater tots into cone molds (foil or metal). Press tightly together.
  3. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and crisp.
  4. Meanwhile, cook beef and onion in skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon.
  6. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create burger sauce.
  7. Fill baked tater tot cones with beef mixture, top with cheddar and mozzarella.
  8. Bake another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Drizzle with burger sauce, add pickles, lettuce, or tomatoes as desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Press tots tightly when shaping cones to avoid gaps.
  • Freeze unfilled cones for up to 1 month.
