Description

Banana Pudding Cheesecake Creation is a rich, creamy dessert that combines classic Southern banana pudding flavors with smooth baked cheesecake and a buttery vanilla wafer crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 23 bananas)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 1 banana, sliced (for topping)
  • Extra vanilla wafers (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix vanilla wafer crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Blend in mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed just until combined.
  7. Gently mix in flour until smooth.
  8. Pour batter over the crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 60–70 minutes until the center is just set.
  10. Turn off oven, crack the door, and let cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  12. Top with whipped cream, banana slices, and vanilla wafers before serving.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • All ingredients should be at room temperature.
  • Avoid overmixing eggs to prevent cracks.
