- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup apple pie filling, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
- For the Glaze:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C); grease or line a baking sheet.
- Mix the chopped apple filling with brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Flatten each biscuit into a ~4-inch circle.
- Place a spoonful of apple mixture in center, fold edges up, and pinch closed.
- Arrange seam-side down, brush with melted butter.
- Bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk & vanilla into a smooth glaze.
- Cool slightly, drizzle glaze over biscuits, and serve warm.
Notes
- Don’t overfill — leave a border to seal edges.
- Press seams firmly to avoid leaks.
- If dough becomes too soft, chill briefly.
- Glaze after cooling slightly to avoid melting off.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on glaze for contrast.
